4 Date Recommendations You Will Not Want to Miss

It’s the holidays - which means spending time with your loved ones for some and spending time alone

for others. However, if you are spending time with someone special, then perhaps consider going on

a date!

Dates are one of my partner Coffee and I’s favorite ways to relax and have a good time together - and here are 4 of our favorites that you might consider going on with your significant other.

1/ the Beach / the Santa Monica Pier

Photo booths, rides, games, sweet treats and the idyllic scenery of the waves rushing to the crushed blond

shore? The Pier has got it all and is the  perfect place to go with your partner, especially if you have some money to spend. Coffee and I loved every second of our time there, surrounded by the ringing bells of

games being won, the rush of the ocean below us, and the excited chatter of ride-goers surrounding us.

I won every game, we went to a café, had ice cream by the water, and went on all the rides cuddled close.

Our photo strip is one of my most prized possessions and sits by my bedside to this day.

2/ The Movies

If you like a more air conditioned activity, try a day at the cinema! Cuddling up with your partner in the

butter-scented theatre and enjoying a good film on the big screen (or a bad one, which can be just as

fun to joke about afterwards) can be a lovely way to spend an evening or an afternoon. What else

could be better? (Unless you happen to be a theater Grinch - then maybe not so pleasant.) Factor

in shopping or a meal before or after to create the perfect blend of that first date feeling mixed I’ve

known you forever, and, of course best of all, notes of love.

3/ Starbucks Run!

What could be better than a trip to Starbucks? Awash with coffee-toned scents and flavors mingling

in the air, and, of course, that always-recognizable sea-green mermaid logo, Starbucks is a staple for teens

and young adults alike - yet it's truly meant for anyone! Grab a coffee (personal recommendation: iced

coffees for the win!) and chat with your significant other, maybe even splurge on a brightly colored novelty cup if you have extra money. All in all, you will not be disappointed. Starbucks (or other coffee in general) is a wonderfully cozy place to spend some quality time with your partner.

4/ At home edition: Cookies, Pajamas, Holiday Films and more!

Find a quick and easy recipe for warm chocolate chip cookies here:  https://www.allrecipes.com/recipe/22848/ashleys-chocolate-chip-cookies/

Last weekend, Coffee and I spent one of my favorite date nights ever - at home! Yes, you can have a date at

home, and let me tell you, they can be just as special as those out. Coffee gave me a pair of their pajamas

(pink flannel sweatpants with a white crop top) and dressed in their special red Christmas ones and we

cuddled up beneath the fuzzy blanket, sneaking kisses and watching Christmas films for hours, until we decided to bake a sweet treat. Fetching their brother, we turned up the Taylor Swift and got to baking, whipping up chocolate chip cookies that, instead of growing wide, grew tall, and dipped in milk, were the sweetest I'd ever had. That memory of our amazing night in will forever be one of my favorite and most cherished nights. So, try baking with your loved one, a clothing swap, and films or karaoke to get into the fun zone. I promise, this will be a date you will not forget!

If you want any more ideas, send me a message in the comments below and look forward to part two of this list!

I hope you enjoy your holiday time with your special someone.

<3,

Luna
