My first hello

This is the date! December 5, 2024

You may not know this, (actually, you have no way of knowing this since you are anonymous readers) but I have an unlucky thing about the number five. It has always haunted me. You could say that it’s my thirteen, my umbrella-open-inside, my socks-with-sandals. The number five is the day where my life flipped upside down — but it’s also the day I started healing.

Hello. Welcome, and bienvenue. I will not share my real name, so I’ll go by Luna for this blog. Some things to know: this will be a personal blog, for anyone reading it. This blog will cover aspects of my life including stories (both real and fictional), healing from an ED, love, mental health, holidays, you name it! But most importantly, I'm writing this blog for you and for the storytelling. You see, I have always enjoyed it. I began the craft at a young age, spinning tales like gold for my younger sister, who we’ll call Hannah. Every night in our shared bedroom, tucked into our twin beds she would beg for stories — and I would tell. Childish stories, or fables or fairy tales, stories soft as roses petals or silly as a stream. And though I would groan, I secretly loved every moment.

I may not have always known what I wanted, and but reading and now writing again has always been a part of it. So I hope you will join me on this journey. It may be messy. It may not always be perfect. But that’s okay. For isn’t that part of getting better? Isn’t that part of the beauty?

Back to the number five. I’m not sure how much I’ll share on this blog. Which I know might be boring, but for now just know that something happened to me on a five. Something important. Something I will never forget. Something I hate and something I love. Something awful. Yet now something necessary. If you think back on something, you will notice in hindsight its importance. Even if it feels like you’re burning alive in a flaming pit or drowning in stress now, one day it won’t. One day something will change. You have the power to make a change in your life. Remember that. Anyways, nice to meet you! I hope you’ll keep reading. :)
